As Pixel8 Designer, you will work on a variety of projects and activities, such as websites, advertising, posters, product packaging, exhibitions and displays, corporate communications and corporate identity. You’ll work to a brief agreed with the client, creative director or project manager and will develop creative ideas and concepts. The appropriate media and style has to be chosen to meet the client’s objectives. The work demands creative flair, up-to-date knowledge of industry software and a professional approach to time, costs and deadlines.

- With UI/UX Design experience or similar role.
- Meeting clients or project managers to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job.

- Developing design briefs that suit the client’s purpose.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is required especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts and developing interactive design.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles.
- Highly organized, including the ability to adapt gracefully to changing priorities and multiple projects with a high level of accuracy.
- Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time.
- Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to clients or account managers.
- Working with a range of media and keeping up to date with emerging design technologies.
- Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
- demonstrating illustrative skills with rough sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
- Working as part of a team with copywriters, other designers, project managers, web developers and marketing specialists.
- Comfort in working with short or flexible timelines, and with evolving tools.
- A proactive nature, a positive attitude, and a high degree of motivation to go above and beyond to learn new skills and get things done.
